Use UK's range of beautiful one off, super soft button clutches are individually handcrafted from sumptuous leather.
Each bag is individually designed to reveal a flash of silk lining and show off a set of vintage buttons. Buttons are obtained in individual lots and can be unused/slightly used vintage as in Mary Button's below or in many cases unused bankrupt stock that has been in storage since the 40's.
As every clutch bag is a very special one off design and different leathers and buttons are used, each is priced individually.

Interesting info: The inspiration for the button bags came from Nicola's grandmother in law, Mary. Born in 1922 Mary Button belonged to a generation long before our ‘throw away culture’. If a pair of socks had a hole in them she darned them, if a skirt didn’t fit the waist band was altered. Over the 84 years of her life Mary built up a fabulous sewing collection including old threads, thimbles and buttons, colour sorted into old tins. Nicola inherited this fabulous collection hence the birth of the very special Button Clutch. Mary would have been delighted to see her carefully saved collection used on beautiful bags and not just left sitting in a tin. Appropriately enough Button was actually her surname.

Product Description: Larger than our buckle clutches, once folded, Use UK's button bags measure approximately 15x30cm. Each is presented in a protective bag and has a certificate of originality.
N.B. The buttons are vintage so occasionally may show signs of their past.
